Cellular studies have shown that αG RUTIN significantly decreased intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels and reduced the accumulation of 8-oxoguanine, a key marker of oxidative DNA damage. By mitigating oxidative stress, αG RUTIN helped preserve genomic stability and notably attenuates telomere shortening during chronic oxidative stress and replicative aging.
These findings suggest that αG RUTIN may contribute to cellular longevity by protecting DNA integrity and slowing oxidative stress–induced cellular aging processes.
