Intro

Introduction to Cocoa butter
Cocoa butter is the lipid fraction of cocoa beans, representing roughly 40–50% of the bean by weight and produced through mechanical pressing. It is solid at ambient conditions and has a melting point of about 34°C (93°F), causing it to melt readily near body temperature.

COCOA BUTTER RFO™ and Applications
Cocoa butter is prized for its deeply nourishing and long-lasting moisturizing properties. Rich in oleic acid, it absorbs easily into the skin to lock in moisture and protect against dryness. Its natural emollient effect gently softens the skin while helping to remove excess sebum and dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth, supple, and comfortable.
Packed with palmitic acid to support healthy skin renewal and cocoa-derived polyphenols known for their antioxidant and anti-aging benefits, cocoa butter helps restore vitality and youthful radiance. Naturally resistant to oxidation, it offers excellent stability and a long shelf life. Solid at room temperature yet melting effortlessly at body temperature, cocoa butter is an ideal base for high-quality products such as soaps, skincare creams, lip balms, and pharmaceutical formulations, delivering a rich, luxurious feel with every use.
