At CELMYON, we believe that protecting the environment requires more than commitments—it requires meaningful action on the ground. As part of our sustainability initiatives, we are carrying out a reforestation and land-restoration project in Senegal, West Africa, with the aim of regenerating degraded and arid land while contributing to long-term carbon reduction.
Our project combines tree planting, land conservation, and sustainable irrigation to create conditions in which vegetation can become established and thrive. During the critical early stages of tree growth, solar-powered irrigation helps support young trees while reducing reliance on conventional energy sources.

Tree species are selected with consideration for their suitability to local environmental conditions, including Moringa oleifera, Acacia mellifera, and Casuarina equisetifolia. By establishing and maintaining these trees, we aim to contribute to vegetation recovery, carbon sequestration, soil conservation, and the gradual restoration of the local ecosystem.
